How old are you? 40
How long have you been skiing? 25 Years
What is your preferred discipline? Sprint
What are your skiing aspirations? This might be my last season and so to finish on a high with some credible top 25 finishes and to win the British Championships would be the icing on the cake. I hope to retain my Army and Inter Services’ titles.
What would be your advice to upcoming skiers? There is nothing that you cannot do - believe in yourself even if others don’t; there is a wealth of discovery out there - get on with it.
Is there anything you do before a race? Put everything that is irrelevant to the back of my mind…I am here to represent Great Britain, the greatest honour of any athlete, and I intend to do this well - there is absolutely nothing that will distract me from this.
Who is your sporting hero? Right now it has to be Usain Bolt - he epitomises the values of a true sportsman. Back ‘when I were a lad’ it was Daley Thomson - LEGEND.

What do you do to relax? There is no time for that! I’m switched on 24/7!
What is your nickname? Nobby.
If you were not a ski racer what would you be doing? I’d probably still be in a bobsleigh!
Who is your secret crush? My wife…ssssh, don’t tell her!
What is you favorite food? I’ve just got back from the desert an have had a bit of an epiphany when it comes to food…I’m not choosy but I have cut down on carbs, unless training and certainly not after 7pm. My favourite food is anything spicy. I eat a red chilli every day!
What’s on your iPod? I have just bought a new one and an IPAD. I have zero songs on it as I am trying to rationalise the 9,376 that are on my iTunes!
Can you tell us something nobody else knows about you? I have six toes on my right foot.
What song is most likely to make you move on the dance floor? Anything from Saturday Night Fever if you want to see the moves!
What can you be heard saying most often (catchphrase/motto)? ‘We’ve all got a job to do’ and ‘We all have choices to make’
