Following the success of the indoor races last summer, British Telemark invites you to race in the 2015 British Indoor Telemark Series. Taking place in Glasgow, Manchester, Tamworth and Hemel Hempstead the four races are open to telemark skiers of all ages and abilities. There will also be a limited amount of equipment available for those who fancy a go but do not have kit!

*Tamworth will be an afternoon race on Sunday 28th.
**Hemel will have the race on Saturday 22nd and the festival on Sunday 23rd.
Telemark Festivals
There will be a telemark festival on the Saturday before the races (except Hemel, which will have the race on Saturday and a festival on Sunday). At the festivals there will be opportunities to have coaching from top BASI instructors and ski with the British Team.
Links to each of the telemark festivals will be added here as the events approach. These will be organised through the local clubs so more information will be found there.
Race Training: There will be a two hour race training session on each of the festival days. If you attend the festival your ski pass will cover you to take part in the race training at no extra cost. If you would like to take part in the race training only you can buy a two hour ski pass on the day (£31 per person in Manchester). We ask that you can telemark linked turns if you wish to take part in this. The race training will usually run in the afternoon from 2-4pm.
Telemark Races
The races take place in the form of a telemark sprint with a jump and skate section (snow and venue permitting). Competitors times from two runs will be combined and the events are run under British Telemark Rules. For more detailed information of the races see our Race Notes. There will be prizes for individual and team winners for each race and overall series. Prizes for the overall summer series will be awarded at the final event in Hemel.
