Kneissl UK Support British Telemark World Cup Team

Today Kneissl UK announced its continued support for British Senior Team athletes: Andrew Clarke, Jack Harvard Taylor and Jasmin Taylor for the 2012/13 FIS Telemark World Cup season.

British Champion, Jasmin Taylor commented:

“I’m thrilled to be sponsored again this season by one of Austria’s leading ski manufactures. Last season I won bronze medal at the Junior World Championships on my Kneissl White Star XRs and this year I hope to build on that successful and take the gold. With the support of Kneissl UK anything is possible!”

Kneissl manufacture a whole range of alpine and nordic skis to suit recreational skiers and racers alike. Last season British Team captain, Jack Harvard Taylor tested the Rock Star, Kneissl’s all-mountain freeride ski and said:

“at 108mm under waist these beasts are capable of ripping through just about anything the mountain throws in the way. A truly inspiring ski and my first choice on a powder day.”

Here is what Kneissl say, “Modeling oneself on nature is a standard that we at Kneissl take literally. Natural materials, like wood, are highly functional and they inspire us with their characteristics day by day. That’s why we only build skis with woodcore in sandwich-technology.

The interconnectivity of man, nature, highest quality standards in technique and “Product Performance” with pure design and the fire of discovery for the perfect moment – that’s what Kneissl stands for”.
